Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I just wanted to pop in and share a final card I created with the Pinkfresh Studio December release, before our January release goes live on MONDAY! It's a good one...so be sure to check back here at 7am CT. We've got a blog hop going on with tons of inspiration and PRIZES!
There is Always a Reason to Celebrate card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here are the instructions on how to create this card:
- Foil the Detailed Leaf foil plate in Aura foil to white cardstock.
- Foil the largest Nested Rectangle in Aura foil and Rose Gold foil to white cardstock.
- Ink blend the foiled leaf with the coordinating layering stencils.
- Diecut all foiled items with the coordinating dies.
- Diecut a Floral Grid panel from white cardstock.
- Heat emboss the sentiment in white to pink cardstock.
- Diecut with the coordinating die, plus another layer from gold pearl paper.
- Trim the rose gold rectangle in half at an angle.
- Assemble the card as shown to the top of a light pink A2 card base.
- Accent with matte gold pearls to finish.
NOTE: I trimmed and arranged the rose gold foiled rectangle because I got some bad foiling results in a couple areas. I was able to either hide or trim away the bad results with this design, allowing me to not waste any foiled elements! It's a great reminder to not toss your foiled elements just because a couple areas might have not foiled perfectly. Try to find a way to use them!
Before I close up, I wanted to mention that my Crafty Sale page is updated, and I'm also currently work on my FAVORITES page! Kimberley B. - So pretty! I love this color palette too! I’m not a big fan of coral usually but it goes perfectly with these colors.
