Happy Monday, crafty friends! I've got another Valentine's day card to share with you today that I made live on my personal YouTube channel two Sundays ago. You might have noticed that I didn't go live yesterday. My back flared up, and I cannot sit for even an hour at my desk when it flares up. So it was best for me to rest, stretch and do some of my strengthening exercises throughout the day instead. I'm feeling 1000 times better today, and plan to make my Sunday live up one evening this week. I'm thinking Wednesday, but be on the lookout for an email or my Instagram Stories for updates!
Speaking of Valentine's day, we've got an amazing FREE GIFT with $30+ purchase going on at Pinkfresh Studio right now! We had a little "whoops" in the manufacturing of our Heart Grid hot foil plate, and we got a shipment with an outline around the hearts. This is different than the design we sell in our shop...so now we are giving those away for FREE! All you need to do is add $30+ into your cart, then check out. Our warehouse team will add the free gift to all eligible orders while supplies last. (And I happen to know we have quite a few of them...I think it's safe to say you will get the free gift. Lol!) Please note that the free gift is not eligible on the sale of Glimmer Hot Foil Systems or Create & Connect registration.
Be My Valentine card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
You can watch my card come together on my YouTube Live video below. Here is a quick overview of how to do it, in case watching videos isn't your thing:
- Foil the Floral Border in Teal foil & the Phrase Builder Happy Valentine's word in Sparkle Magenta foil to white cardstock using the Glimmer Hot Foil System.
- Foil the leftover negative pieces using our Solid Hot Foil Plate.
- Ink blend the Floral Border foiled panel with the coordinating layering stencils.
- Diecut both Floral Border foiled panels with the coordinating die.
- Diecut both options of the word Valentine's, then trim off the apostrophe and the s from the standard foiled version.
- Diecut the Jeff Alpha letters from white cardstock and the shadow layers from vellum. Stack and adhere together.
- Adhere the solid foiled Floral Border to a white A2 card base with liquid glue, then flip the ink blended panel and mount with foam tape.
- Adhere the BE MY letters with thin foam strips.
- Add the foiled valentine word with foam.
- Accent with clear iridescent jewels to finish.
NOTE: I love this set because it allows me to perfectly use the standard foiled and solid foiled versions together. Sometimes the solid foiled products are a little too bold for me, but I really love to use them behind things just to peek out and add interest. Just by flipping the ink blended version 180 degrees over top of the solid foiled allows it too peek through from underneath, but keeping a more subtle feel!
Before I close up, I wanted to mention that my Crafty Sale page is updated, and I'm also currently work on my FAVORITES page! It currently only has my Amazon list, and my must haves for ink & ink blending...but my hope is to have it completley finished very soon. Shopping from my links is FREE for you while I earn a small commission. This helps me keep my website running & so much more. Thank you so much for your support!
There will be more images of these cards on my Instagram post. You can also check out my complete supply list below to multiple stores, or CLICK HERE to see it a bit easier. :)
