Happy Monday, crafty friends! Just popping in with another card to share from the Pinkfresh Studio March release. This card features the Rainbow Daisies washi tape, and if you feel like you recognize the card design, you are correct! I lifted my own design from a card I created for the January release that just felt like it would fit these floral clusters perfectly. If you ever feel like your crafty mojo is spent, lifting your own designs is a great way to get something created and work on getting your inspiration back again!
You're a Wonderful Friend card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5/5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here are the instructions on how to create this card:
- Create an A2 card base from white cardstock.
- Pull out a panel of Rainbow Daisies washi tape and adhere to white cardstock.
- Diecut the washi tape panel with the coordinating 1-piece die.
- Diecut a white cardstock panel using the Spiral Circle die as shown.
- Layer this panel to the card front over top of ivory glitter cardstock.
- Cluster & layer the washi tape pieces as shown, trimming off excess from the card sides.
- Stamp the sentiment in Detail Black ink, then cut out with the coordinating die.
- Mount the sentiment to the card using thin foam strips.
- Accent with rows of rainbow crystals to finish.
TIP: I use (3) Sizzix Big Spot extended plates and a 100 LB paper shim to create an extended plate sandwich for my Gemini Jr. These products are just slightly too large for the original Gemini Jr. sandwich, so this is a great option! I've had ZERO issues running this sandwich through my machine, but keep in mind that they are not Crafter's Companion approved products. If you machine is still under warranty, you might not want to proceed until after it has expired.
Before I close up, I wanted to mention that my Crafty Sale page is updated, and I'm also currently work on my FAVORITES page! It currently only has my Amazon list, and my must haves for ink & ink blending...but my hope is to have it completley finished soon.
