It's release day at Pinkfresh Studio, and we are so excited to bring you our brand new April 2023 release! Pinkfresh celebrated 9 years in business this month, and our release is completely themed around that concept. Tons of birthday, but also great for engagements, weddings, babies, anniversaries and more!
I've got a lovely card set to share with you today and more thru the week! Today I'm sharing two cards, featuring our Sweet Day product suite.
Sweet Day card set
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches) & Square 4.25" x 4.25" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list.
Here are instructions on how to create today's card & envelope:
- Cut & fold A2 card base from white cardstock and set aside.
- Foil the Sweet Day hot foil plate in Matte Gold to white cardstock.
- Use the coordinating stencils to ink blend in the following colors:
Stencil 1: Ballet Slipper
Stencil 2: Ballet Slipper
Stencil 3: Coral Reef, Ocean Breeze, Lemon Whip, Apricot
Stencil 4: Lemon Whip, Ocean Breeze, Apricot
Stencil 5: Apricot (cupcake only)
Stencil 6: OMIT
- Diecut the fringe elements from matching pastel colored cardstock, and the scalloped border & bow from ivory glitter cardstock.
- Diecut an A2 white cardstock panel with the largest Blanket Stitched Oval die.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Sweet Day stamp set in Detail Black to white cardstock.
- Diecut all of the Sweet Day elements with their coordinating dies, then set aside the cupcake & flag.
- Adhere the fringe and scalloped dies to the white card base, then trim the excess.
- Mount the Blanket Stitched Oval panel to the front with foam tape.
- Attach the cake & sentiment as shown.
- Accent with jewels to finish.
Hooray shaker card:
- Cut & fold 4.25-inch card base from pastel orange cardstock and set aside.
- Diecut (2) of the largest Stitched Square from white cardstock, and the largest Stitched Scallop Square from ivory glitter cardstock.
- Diecut the largest Shaker Heart from the middle of one white stitched square panel.
- Adhere an acetate panel to the back to create your shaker window.
- Adhere the stitched square panel to the card base, add a shaker mix to the middle, then mount the shaker panel to the top with foam tape.
- Add the scalloped frame to the top with thin foam strips.
- Heat emboss the sentiment from the With Love stamp set in white to pastel pink cardstock.
- Use the Basic Banner die to cut the sentiment into a banner shape.
- Mount the banner sentiment to the card front, along with the cupcake & flag you created when making the previous card.
- Attach the sentiment from our Foiled Sentiments 6 pack to the front with foam strips.
