Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I'm popping in today to share another card featuring some goodies from the November 2022 release at Pinkfresh Studio that went live this past Monday. This card features the new Quadrant Backdrop and You're The Best products suites, and I just love how they look together!
Before we get to my card today, I wanted to mention that I've updated my Crafty Sale page with LOTS of Black Friday savings, and I will be updating it throughout the holiday weekend! There is the saying that whenever you make a purchase from a small business, someone does a happy dance. You're The Best card
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
Easy steps to help recreate:
- Step 1 - Foil the Quadrant Backdrop hot foil plate in Satin Rose Gold foil to white cardstock two times.
- Step 2 - Diecut each foiled image with the coordinating die, then trim one along the foiled line of the third set of quadrants.
- Step 3 - Stamp & heat emboss the You're The Best floral image in white to white cardstock.
- Step 4 - Ink blend the stamp image with the coordinating layering stencils in the following colors: (Stencils 1, 3, 5 - Peach Fuzz, Stencil 2 - Olive, Stencil 4 - Evergreen)
- Step 5 - Stamp & heat emboss the Thank You sentiment in rose gold to white cardstock. Stamp the secondary sentiment in detail black, also to white cardstock.
- Step 6 - Diecut the flowers with the coordinating 1-piece die. Diecut the Thank You sentiment with it's coordinating die. Diecut the secondary sentiment and also rose gold foil with the Folk Edge Circles die set.
- Step 7 - Assemble the card as shown, popping some elements up with foam tape for added dimension.
- Step 7 - Accent with Butterscotch, Jade and Champagne Glitter Drops to finish.
TIP: I wanted to mimic white flowers with a warm undertone, so I used Peach Fuzz ink with extremely light blending to help achieve this. The light hand is the most important part to being able to ink blend a "white" flower.
