Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I'm taking a small break from Pinkfresh products to share a few projects I've created using some newer Spellbinders dies. My cards are Christmas & Winter themed, and I think they turned out pretty cute!
Snow Sweet card set
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here is a quick overview on how to create this card:
- Step 1 - Do all the diecutting from cardstock colors of your choice. (I chose pinks, champagne glitter & white for my main colors, along with a black hat and orange carrot noses.)
- Step 2 - Assemble each card as shown, popping some elements up with foam tape for added dimension.
- Step 3 - Accent with jewels to finish.
Quick Note: To create my girl snowman, I just flipped the diecut piece over. You don't get the nice rounded edges, but it does give your die some versatility. I protected this side of my cardstock from my cutting plate by adding a piece of vellum underneath the cardstock.
Noel Merry Christmas card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here is a quick overview on how to create this card:
- Step 1 - Do all the diecutting from cardstock colors of your choice. (I chose pinks, red, champagne glitter & white for my main colors.)
- Step 2 - Foil the background and the secondary sentiment in rose gold foil to white cardstock.
- Step 3 - Assemble each card as shown, popping some elements up with foam tape for added dimension.
- Step 3 - Accent with jewels to finish.
Quick Note: These cards are diecutting heavy, which can be time consuming. I find this time cathartic, and a great way to just listen to some music or watch a show that you don't have to pay super close attention to.
There will be more images of these cards on my Instagram post over the weekend.
