Happy Thursday, crafty friends! I wanted to pop in today and share the card set that I created live this past Tuesday on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel! I used the entire Chrysanthemum product suite, using them side by side to show the difference between the washi tape and stamp & stencils. I really love how these turned out, and I hope you enjoy them too!
Before I get to my cards, I wanted to mention that my Crafty Sale page is updated with lots of great deals! I hope you'll check it out! And just a reminder, shopping from my links is FREE while I earn a small commission. This helps me keep my website running & such. Thank you so much for your support!
Chrysanthemum card set
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
You can watch this card come together on my YouTube Live video below, but here is a quick run down of the work flow:
- Step 1 - Pull out a panel of Chrysanthemum washi tape, and adhere to white cardstock.
- Step 2 - Stamp and heat emboss the Chrysanthemum image to white cardstock in Gold Pearl embossing powder.
- Step 3 - Ink blend the image with the coordinating layering stencils.
- Step 4 - Diecut the washi & stamped panel with the coordinating 1-pc. die.
- Step 5 - Diecut (2) Dotted Scallop panels from A2 sized white cardstock, then trim 1/8th inch from each side.
- Step 6 - Diecut (2) Ornate Circles from white cardstock.
- Step 7 - Diecut (2) smaller circle frames from the Fancy Circles die set from gold pearl and ivory glitter cardstocks. Cut additonals from white cardstock for stacking with the ivory glitter circle.
- Step 8 - Stamp &/or heat emboss the sentiments, then diecut.
- Step 9 - Assemble the cards as shown, popping up some elements with foam adhesive.
- Step 10 - Accent with Glitter Drops to finish.
Quick Note: Be sure to tape down the large 1-piece dies well before running through your machine. Due to the nature of their size, they have more of a chance to shift than a smaller die.
There will be more images of these cards on my Instagram post. You can also check out my complete supply list below to multiple stores, or CLICK HERE to see it a bit easier. :)
