I will put all of the blog hop details at the end of my post, but how about we get to my card first? I've created a simple wintry card with a new snowflake die paired with previously released products.
Joy to You and Yours this Season card
To start I ink blended the Berries & Leaves stencil to an A2 sized block of Hammermill white cardstock in the following Pinkfresh Studio ink colors: Ocean Breeze, Aquamarine and Mermaid Cove. Then I diecut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle to give it that nice finished edge.
Next I diecut the Dancing Snowflakes multiple times from white cardstock, then stacked and adhered with a Zig glue pen. I added glue to the front with the same glue pen, then covered in glitter. I use a mix of prisma glitter and chunky glitter that I combine together into a canister. Next I worked on the Chunky Joy diecut sentiment. I cut the outline three times: once from champagne glitter cardstock and twice from white cardstock. I stacked and glued those together. I diecut the word JOY again from a scrap of ink blending that I had done previously with the same ink colors. Finally, I diecut the shadow layer from vellum and assembled as shown. I trimmed the secondary sentiment from the Love Peace Joy sentiment strips, and added thin foam tape to the back of everything.
I mounted the ink blended panel to a top folding A2 card base created from Peacock cardstock using foam adhesive. I create my own foam panels using white craft foam and 5" ScorTape. (I've found this to be the most economical way to pop your backgrounds up with foam.) Then I mounted the snowflakes and sentiments as shown. Finally, I accented with the Chunky Clear Iridescent Jewels and the Clear Iridescent Mix using Bearly Arts liquid glue.
