I started this card by foiling the Diamonds background in Aura colored foil to Hammermill white cardstock using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System. I diecut the panel with the largest stitched rectangle, then mounted to a light pink A2 card base with foam adhesive. I diecut the largest blanket stitched oval from pink cardstock, and mounted it to the center of the card with foam tape.
Next I worked on the Christmas tree scene. If you want to use the stamped image, I found that this one is easier if you stamp first and then use the stencils. So I heat embossed the Christmas tree/present image in gold to white cardstock. Then I lined up each layering stencil with the stamped image (you won't use the alignment guides when stamping first) and ink blended it as shown using the colors listed above. When the ink blending was complete, I cut it out with the coordinating die, then layered the pieces to the card front, popping the tree and top set of presents with foam tape.
Next I stamped & heat embossed the scripted sentiment in gold to white cardstock. Then I heat embossed the other sentiment in white to pink cardstock. I used the coordinating die to cut out the scripted word, and a fancy label frame to cut out the other. I also cut the next size label from white cardstock and mounted the pink one to it with foam tape. I added the sentiments to the card front as shown.
I finished the card by accenting with trios of light pink & clear crystals, and metallic gold pearls. I also accented the presents with gold pearls.
