Happy Saturday, crafty friends! I will be heading to the airport soon to pick up my hubby, who has been gone for TWO WEEKS visiting his parents. That is a long time to be apart, and I am so happy he is coming home today!
I wanted to pop in and share a really fun Pinkfresh Studio card I made awhile ago, but never got around to posting it. It is full of foiling, including that holographic Prism foiled background....which I swoon over every time I look at it. Lol! It also features flowers from our Beautiful Blooms product suite, which is such a good one. It's so versatile and easy to use!
The best part? The sentiment that I featured is from our Celebrating You product suite, which happens to be part of our 40% off stamp sale this week! What?! There are multiple designs in the sale, so you will definitely want to check it out.
You can get more details about my card below!
Thinking of You card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - if you love my card & would like to purchase any of the products I've used, I would love for you to shop from my links! I earn a small commission at no cost to you, allowing me to contribute to our finances. I appreciate this gesture more than words can express!
Here is a quick overview of how to recreate these cards:
- Create (1) A2 sized card base from white cardstock.
- Foil the Celebrating You hot foil plate in Bright Pink colored foil to white cardstock.
- Foil the Nested Star hot foil plate in Skybright colored foil to white cardstock.
- Use the Solid Hot Foil Plate to reverse foil the leftover.
- Use the Solid Hot Foil Plate to foil a full panel of Prism colored foil to white cardstock.
- Diecut the sentiments & the standard foiled star with the coordinating dies. (I did not diecut the solid foiled star. I will make that decision when I use it in the future.)
- Diecut the solid panel with the largest stitched rectangle, then diecut the same size star directly from the middle.
- Stamp the Beautiful Blooms images to white cardstock in Misty Coast ink.
- Ink blend the floral images in shades of pink, yellow & aqua.
- Diecut all the elements with their coordinating dies.
- Layering the elements to each card front as shown, popping some layers up with foam tape for added dimension.
- Accent with the Tinkerbell mix (From Little Things from Lucy's) to finish.
TIP: You can create your own foil paper panels just by using any hot foil roll with our solid hot foil plate. It's a fantastic way to not have to store a bunch of different paper options, as foil rolls take up much less space.
