Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! I just wanted to pop in and share the slimline card I made live last week on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel. I featured our Detailed Leaf product suite with some of our brand new ink colors, including Cherry Blossom, Begonia, Mulberry Blush and Paradise.
I gave a lot of tips on how to use the matching hot foil plate to dry emboss both glitter cardstock and foil paper. It's a little bit different than dry embossing standard cardstock, and I've done the troubleshooting for you - at least with a Spellbinders Platinum 6. Lol!
You can catch all that info in the replay!
Life is Beautiful card

FEATURED PRODUCTS - if you love my card & would like to purchase any of the products I've used, I would love for you to shop from my links! I earn a small commission at no cost to you, allowing me to contribute to our finances. I appreciate this gesture more than words can express!
You can watch the card come together in my YouTube Live video below. Here is a quick overview if you'd rather not watch the live:
- Cut & fold a 4x9 slimline card base from mulberry colored cardstock.
- Dry emboss the Detailed Leaf hot foil plate two times to white glitter cardstock.
- Heat emboss the Detailed Leaf image to white cardstock in gold pearl.
- Use the coordinating layering stencils to ink blend the image in Cherry Blossom, Begonia, Mulberry Blush and Paradise.
- Ink blend the Double Chevron background in the same colors, then trim.
- Cut out the images with their coordinating dies.
- Stamp the sentiment in Detail Black to white cardstock. Diecut it with two additional layers, then stack & adhere.
- Diecut the Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles once from Glacier glitter cardstock and once from gold pearl cardstock.
- Arrange each element to the card front, popping up some with foam tape for added dimension.
- Accent with Ice clear drops to finish.
NOTE: The Glacier glitter cardstock and the Ice clear drops are sneak peeks from our November release. They will be available for purchase on Monday, November 13. The glitter cardstock will only be available in our Holiday Sparkle pack for now, which offers 5 different colors. It will become available individually in December.
