Happy Tuesday, crafty friends! I wanted to pop in today and share a card I created live last week on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel. I created a card that I've been thinking about since seeing the birdcage die in our Best Things set, but haven't had time to bring it to life with my somewhat extended vacation to Montana. I am THRILLED with out it turned out! I will also be going live TODAY at 12pm CT on our YouTube channel, SNEAK PEEKING our July release!
You can watch the replay below, and get more details about my candle lantern card.

You can watch these cards come together in my YouTube Live video below. Here is a quick overview of how to do it, in case watching videos isn't your thing:
- Create a 4x9 inch slimline sized card base from white cardstock.
- Pull out a panel of Garden Bouquet washi tape, adhere to white cardstock and diecut with the coordinating 1-piece die.
- Diecut the birdcage once from ivory glitter paper, adding a piece of bubble mailer underneath in order to better imprint the details.
- Diecut another layer from white cardstock, no bubble wrap necessary.
- Diecut (3) labels from white cardstock, then stack & glue together.
- Ink blend the flame (an inner chad I kept from the Spiral Circle die) in Lemon Whip, Marigold & Apricot.
- Assemble the lantern as shown.
- Diecut pale pink cardstock with the Hexagon Tile coverplate, then trim to 3 5/8 x 8 5/8 inches. and mount to the card base.
- Diecut the banner frame from light purple cardstock, then adhere to the card with thin foam strips.
- Position the lantern, adhere down and then string with metallic thread for hanging. Add a bow.
- Finish accenting the card with washi tape florals, then embellish with clear iridescent drops.
