Happy Monday, crafty friends! I'm officially on vacation for the first two weeks of July, spending time with family in my beloved Montana. We spent the weekend with my mom in Anaconda, and today we are on our way up to the Flathead Lake area to spend the week with more family. My mom will join us up there on Thursday, then we will all come back to Anaconda next Monday and we will finish up the remaining week of vacation here!
Even though I'm on vacation, I have a TON of previously created cards that I've never shared. I've decided that I will focus on getting those shared over the next two weeks! Sometimes they might be just on Instagram, and some days I will also include a blog post. Just keep a look out in both places if you want to catch them all. :)
Today I've got a colorful card full of summery foiled flowers using our Dreamy Florals product suite.
You are Wonderful card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - if you love my card & would like to purchase any of the products I've used, I would love for you to shop from my links! I earn a small commission at no cost to you, allowing me to contribute to our finances. I appreciate this gesture more than words can express!
Here is a quick overview of how to recreate this card:
- Create A2 sized card base from reddish cardstock, then set aside.
- Foil the Dreamy Florals image and the Quadrant Backdrop image in Aura foil to Hammermill white cardstock.
- OPTIONAL: use the solid hot foil plate to foil the leftover pieces. We won't use them on this card, so you can file them away to use at a later time.
- Ink blend the foiled Dreamy Floral image with the coordinating layering stencils in shades of red, orange, purple & green.
- Diecut the Dreamy Florals image with the coordinating die.
- Diecut the Fancy Oval Frame die once from red cardstock and twice from white cardstock. Stack & glue together.
- Trim the foiled Quadrant Backdrop panel to 3.75" x 5".
- Stamp & heat emboss the sentiment in Gilded to white cardstock.
- Diecut it along with two more layers, then stack & adhere together.
- Adhere the foiled backdrop to the A2 cardbase with foam adhesive.
- Adhere the oval frame to the front, then cluster the foiled florals as shown.
- Attach the sentiment to the card front with liquid glue.
- Accent with Ruby, Amethyst & Butterscotch glitter drops to finish.
