I'm sharing this fun & fresh mini slimline card today featuring our new Sending Love product suite! If you've signed up for the upcoming Creative Crate at Firefly Farms, we are going to be creating THREE super fun cards with this set together for my class...and I CANNOT WAIT! I am over the moon about how my class cards turned out, and I can't wait to share them with registered attendees!
Today's card features a fresh citrus color palette, with teal foiling. This floral swag really is perfect for mini slimline sized cards, but it can really be used on all card sizes. It's so versatile! You can get the details on how I created it below.
Sending You So Much Love card
Card size: mini slimline - 3.25" x 6.25" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - if you love my card & would like to purchase any of the products I've used, I would love for you to shop from my links! I earn a small commission at no cost to you, allowing me to contribute to our finances. I appreciate this gesture more than words can express!
Here is a quick overview of how to create this card:
- Cut & fold mini slimline card base from peach cardstock.
- Foil the Sending Love image in teal foil to white cardstock. Use the solid hot foil plate to foil the leftover foil piece.
- Use the coordinating stencils to ink blend the standard foiled image in Aquamarine, Mermaid Cove, Citron & Mimosa.
- Diecut both pieces with the coordinating die.
- Diecut the mini slimline Stitched Scallop Rectangle from gold glitter cardstock.
- Diecut the Hexagon Tiles coverplate die from white cardstock, then trim to 3x6 inches and adhere to the card front.
- Stamp the sentiment in Detail Black to white cardstock. Diecut it with two additional layers, then stack & adhere.
- Tuck the floral swags underneath the long side of each frame, and add foam strips over top. Mount to the card front.
- Attach the sentiment to the front with liquid glue
- Accent with Aqua glitter drops to finish.
TIP: If you don't hot foil that is totally okay as the stamp set & the hot foil plate match. You cab stamp the image in your favorite teal ink to get a very similar look! If you'd like a bit more texture, stamp over top of it in embossing ink, cover in clear embossing powder & heat set. For the solid version, heat emboss the image in white to an aqua or teal colored cardstock.
Just a reminder that you can see more images of these cards on my Instagram post! Also, don't forget that we also have a blog hop going on this week too! If you haven't checked it out, there are more prizes to be won and inspiration to be seen. You can get all the details on my blog hop post!
