Happy Monday, crafty friends! I wanted to start off the week with a little more Christmas inspiration using the brand new holiday release from Pinkfresh Studio. I try to not look at any cards our design team creates when I am also creating, but I had to create at the very last minute for this release due to an overbooked schedule. So I was still creating while also posting sneak peeks for Pinkfresh Studio. We are going to say that this card was highly inspired by a card the talented Carissa Wiley created for the release...just different colors. Lol!
Peace, Love & Joy card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
Here is a quick overview on how to create this card:
- Step 1 - Foil the ornaments hot foil plate in Moondust foil to white cardstock.
- Step 2 - Ink blend the image with the layering stencils.
- Step 3 - Heat emboss the sentiment in Pearl Gold Sparkle.
- Step 4 - Do all the diecutting.
- Step 5 - Stamp the sentiment to the background piece in light colored ink to act as a guide.
- Step 6 - Assemble the card as shown, popping up the diecut sentiment over top of the stamped guide.
- Step 7 - Accent with jewels to finish.
TIPS:
- Use a super tiny hole punch on the ornaments to help string them with the gold foil. You could also use needle with the thread to help pop it through if you don't own a small enough hole punch.
- This sentiment die cuts it into multiple pieces. I find this hard to line up on the card, so stamping the sentiment directly to the card as a guide helps immensely.
