Happy Sunday, crafty friends! My post is a little different today, because it's about organization! My foil roll collection has grown by leaps and bounds as foiling is a huge part of my crafting these days. I needed a new solution for storing all my foil rolls, and I found the perfect one for me! I'll give you all the details below!
New Foil Roll Storage
I am not the first person to use nail polish storage for this purpose and I will not be the last, but I love to give the info in case it helps people organize their areas better! I decided on this 6-tier unit from Amazon because I wanted some room to grow. I now have an entire extra row to grow into as new foil colors release.
It does require some assembly, so make sure you have the correct type of screwdriver on hand. I was able to assemble it myself in about 20 minutes, as my hands are pretty small and I could pretty easily get in there for the fiddly parts.
I previously shared how I had turned the 360 Craft Tower from Scrapbook.com into my foiling storage, and it's not going anywhere! My foil collection just outgrew it. It is now my foil overflow, but it also holds all those important things that I need at my fingertips when crafting, like my stamp press tool, anti static powder tool, all my cleaners, low tack tape, etc... I think these two pieces look really nice together on my desk, and my foiling space is much more functional now. And that makes me happy!
Speaking of Scrapbook.com...they have a great $10 off $100+ orders going on, plus 3 fantastic FREEBIES. I use a lot of organization items from them, and this is a great time to grab any that you might need! I think they actually carry a 5-tier version of this same storage piece, but I think it might be currently out of stock.
Why do I have so much foil overflow? Well, I did the monthly subscription thing for awhile at Spellbinders, and they sent a foil roll every month. I no longer subscribe because I just wasn't getting around to using the product, but I do have a lot of foil rolls from that. I also will grab a foil roll or two if I need help getting to a free shipping threshold when shopping. Thus the overflow. Lol!
I am currently working on updating my FAVORITES section that I have had planned forever, but never seem to have the time to work on. It's a goal to finish it by the end of this year, so then I can just update lists as needed and share anything new. It currently has my list of what I typically get on Amazon, and then what I consider necessities for inks & ink blending. I would love for you to check it out, and I will be adding to it soon with other things that I consider favorites and must haves!
Before you move along with your day, I wanted to invite you to follow me on social media. I would love to be crafty friends!

Michelle Kuijer - How do you keep the foil from unrolling once you have opened the roll? That is how I struggle.
