Berries and cocktails and hearts...oh my! 🍓💖 Happy Valentine's Day, crafty friends! I'm beyond excited to share these charming cards from the Spellbinders "Love on the Rocks" collection. Each card is brimming with love and perfect for making someone’s day extra special. From adorable strawberries to sparkling drinks, these designs celebrate love in the most delightful way!
These products are a fabulous addition to the "Happy Hour" collection that released last year, which I added to my crafting studio as quickly as I could! My mantra this year is: if I buy it, I have to use it... and I NEVER used the Classy Glasses press plate & stencil. It ended up being the perfect background for my edge-to-edge shaker card, and I just love how it turned out! Most of the Happy Hour collection is currently on sale, with Classy Glasses being 50% off, so now is a great time to add it to your collection if you're interested!

Easy step by step instruction:
- Create (2) A2 card bases from white cardstock.
- Diecut all the pieces from Love on the Rocks, including multiple strawberry layers and hearts from different shades of pink, red, aqua, white and ivory glitter cardstock.
- Assemble the drinks as shown, and all the strawberries.
- Foil the Happy Hour sentiments in red and the Classy Glasses in gold sparkle to white cardstock.
- Use the Classy Glasses stencil to ink blend the foiled image in Cherry Blossom, Begonia and Berrylicious (2 pinks and 1 red), then trim the panel to A2 size.
- Turn the panel into an edge to edge shaker window using clear packaging and double sided adhesive, filling with Strawberry Shortcake clay confetti and mixed glitter.
- Diecut the foiled sentiments with the coordinating 1-piece die.
- Diecut the Stitched Notch Corner Card frame from ivory glitter cardstock.
- 3D emboss an A2 panel of berry pink cardstock with the Tiny Heart Scallop embossing folder, then trim to 4" x 5.25".
- Assemble each card as shown, popping up some elements with foam adhesive for added dimension.
- Accent with Aura AB self adhesive gems to finish.
The Tiny Heart Scallop 3D embossing folder and Stitched Notch Corner Card die set were part of the December 2024 club kits, but they're now available for purchase and currently on sale! Don't forget to explore all the options your stitching dies offer—you don't always have to do the stitching. They often come with little gems, like this fantastic frame I was able to add to my shaker card!
