Happy Saturday, crafty friends! Sorry for how quiet it's been around here...just getting settled into the new year, and it was quite a busy work week. But today I have a fun foiled card set to share with you, featuring the Folk Garden 2 product suite from Pinkfresh Studio! (Along with a lot of other products...lol!)
Folk Garden 2 card set

Sending Hugs card size: Square - 4.25" x 4.25" (inches)
Instructions:

Foil the Folk Garden 2 hot foil plate in Blush, and the Perfect Sentiments hot foil plate in Moondust.
-
Foil the negative pieces using the Solid Hot Foil Plate.
-
Use the coordinating layering stencils to ink blend color into the first Folk Garden 2 foiled piece.
-
Diecut all foiled and negative foiled pieces with their coordinating die.
-
Diecut the Sparkling Diamond die from white cardstock, then trim to a 4” square.
-
Diecut a frame using the two largest Folk Edge Square dies.
-
Diecut the large Shaker Heart from pink cardstock.
-
Mount each piece as shown to the 4 ¼” peach card front.
-
Accent with Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish.
TIP: When you have your foiling system out, foil all the things! It’s an efficient use of foiling time to foil the standard designs, then use your Solid Hot Foil Plate to foil the negative pieces as well. Having extra foiled elements on hand for creating is great when you have limited time!

Instructions:

Stamp the Folk Garden 2 cling stamp to white cardstock in Rocky Slope.

Use the coordinating layering stencils to ink blend color into the stamped image.

Diecut all the images with the coordinating die.
-
Foil the sentiment from Fancy Script Words to white cardstock in Blush foil.
-
Diecut the sentiment with the coordinating die.
-
Diecut the Diagonal Stitched Plaid panel from white cardstock, and trim ¼” off each side.

Diecut the Ornate Oval Frame from blush colored foil paper.
-
Mount each piece as shown to the A2 aqua card front using foam tape and liquid glue.

Accent with iridescent jewels to finish.
TIP: Keep the stamp in your stamping platform when ink blending over top with layering stencils. This allows you to re-stamp the image once the ink blending is complete, giving you a more crisp & clear stamped impression.
Congrats card size: Mini Slimline - 3.25" x 6.25" (inches)
Instructions:

Trim a piece of white cardstock to 2 ¾” x 5 ¾” (inches).
-
Adhere the remaining Folk Garden 2 foiled pieces around the edge of the cardstock block with liquid glue, leaving room for the sentiment.

Diecut the panel with the smaller Stitched Rectangle from the Mini Slimline Bundle.
-
Diecut the Stitched Scallop Rectangle 4 times: once from blush foil paper, and three times from white cardstock. Stack & glue together.

Foil the Brushed Sentiments hot foil plate to white cardstock in Blush foil.
-
Diecut with the coordinating die.
-
Layer the pieces as shown to a white mini slimline card base using tape runner, liquid glue and foam tape.

Accent with Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish.
TIP: If you are ever in a cardmaking rut, try out a different card size! Slimline and mini slimline are a fun change and allows you to use your cardmaking products in a different way.
