Happy Monday, crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was quiet, which was so nice! July has felt crazy, so it was great to mostly be home and doing things around the house.
I got some crafting in, including finishing my samples for an upcoming class that I'm teaching. I also created this Pinkfresh Studio card set as well! I really wanted to use the new Fancy Floral ephemera pack that just released, but didn't get a chance before the release.
I paired them with some of my fave plaid products in the background, which are also on SALE this week for 35% off! Just be sure to use the code PLAID35 upon checkout. The code is valid on this week until Thursday night at 11:59pm CT. Our plaid products make amazing backgrounds, and they are a fantastic basic to have on hand.

Here is a quick overview of how to recreate these cards!
Slimline card:
- Create slimline sized card base from white cardstock, then set aside.
- Ink blend the Basic Plaid background in Soft Lilac, Coral Reef and Peach Fuzz.
- Trim the blended panel down to the card size, then adhere to the card base.
- Diecut a thin frame from gold pearl paper using the smaller dies from the Slim Diagonal Stitch Rectangles.
- Layer & glue the ephemera pieces to the top & bottom as shown, then trim away any excess.
- Add foam tape to the back, and adhere to the card front.
- Stamp & heat emboss the sentiment in Gold Pearl to white cardstock.
- Diecut it along with two more layers, then stack & adhere together.
- Attach the sentiment to the middle with liquid glue.
- Accent with Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish.
A2 card:
- Create A2 sized card base from white cardstock, then set aside.
- Stamp & heat emboss the Dainty Plaid background to white cardstock in Gold Pearl embossing powder.
- Use the coordinating layering stencils to ink blend the background in the same colors used above.
- Trim the blended panel down to the card size, then adhere to the card base.
- Diecut a thin frame from gold pearl paper using the smaller dies from the Diagonal Stitch Rectangles.
- Layer & glue the ephemera pieces to the top & bottom as shown, then trim away any excess. (The bottom piece was a trimmed away piece from the slimline card.)
- Add foam tape to the back, and adhere to the card front.
- Stamp & heat emboss the sentiment in white to pink cardstock.
- Diecut it along with two more layers, then stack & adhere together.
- Attach the sentiment to the front with liquid glue.
- Accent with Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish.
As you can see, the cards somewhat replicate each other in design and products used. I just changed up the size, and some of the products used!
