Happy Sunday, crafty friends! I just barely made celebrating Christmas in July with Spellbinders, but I made it with a few hours to spare...lol! Spellbinder's July release is FULL of amazing Christmas goodies, and while I'm really not in Christmas mode at all...I am super happy with how these cards turned out. Check them out below!

When I create cards with Spellbinders products, I tend to do it in sections. For these cards I started by foiling all the things I wanted to use. Next I worked on all the diecutting...which did take quite a bit of time. I did this during two different Zoom craft sessions - one with my friend Sheila, and the other with my friend Michelle. While it can be a bit time consuming, I always love how it looks when I'm finished and never regret doing all the diecutting. After that I ink blended some of the edges of items for added detail, then assembled the cards as shown.
I love the stiching backgrounds in this new release, but I'm not much for actually stitching. For these cards I diecut one and used it as is, and the other one I foiled. I think this is a fun way to stretch your supplies, and make them work for you. I also think this is such a FUN color combo for Christmas, and I hope you will try it out! Be sure to tag me on IG or Facebook if you do...I'd love to see them!
