Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! Popping in to share a card that I created live with my partner in crime, Heather Hoffman, in our combined YouTube Live last week on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel! We were sneak peeking the February release, where we showcased the new arch shaped product suites.
You can watch the replay below, and get more details!
Such a Time as This card
Card size: A2 - 4.25" x 5.5" (inches)
FEATURED PRODUCTS - complete supply list, linked to multiple sources.
You can watch my card come together on my YouTube Live video below. Here is a quick overview of how to do it, in case watching videos isn't your thing:
- Foil the largest Nested Arch in matte gold foil to white cardstock.
- Stamp and heat emboss the Arch Florals to white cardstock in Gold Pearl embossing powder.
- Ink blend the image with the coordinating layering stencils.
- Stamp and heat emboss the sentiment to white cardstock in Gold Pearl embossing powder.
- Stamp the secondary sentiment to a white cardstock panel with a stitched edge.
- Diecut all the elements with their coordinating dies, and two additional sentiment layers for stacking purposes.
- Assemble the card as shown, popping up some elements with foam tape for added dimension.
- Accent with Twilight ombre glitter drops to finish.
After the life, my arch felt a little empty. So I heat embossed an additional set of Arch Florals, and used the stencils to ink blend them. I switched the main flower colors for a little bit of difference, then cut out with the coordinating die and tucked here & there to help fill in the arch a little bit more. We were out of time in the live, so I had to do it after the fact!
