Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! I'm trying to get caught up on sharing my past livestreams, and today I want to share a card I created on the Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Page a couple weeks ago. You can watch this card come to life below! (Please ignore the silly look on my face....we don't get to add beautiful thumbnails on Facebook Lives like we do on YouTube. Lol!)
You are the Best card
Card size: A2 - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (inches)
I started by foiling the Arch Backdrop to Hammermill white cardstock in Moondust colored foil using my Spellbinders Glimmer hot foil system. I get asked a lot about which hot foil system people should purchase, and I believe you should get the system that works with the diecut machine you own. I technically have both diecut machines (Spellbinders Platinum 6 and Gemini Jr.), but I learned on the Glimmer system...so it is what I feel most comfortable with and plan to stick with. All systems on the market are great, and you should pick the one that works with products you already have. :) Next I foiled the sentiment from the Fancy Script Words sentiment set in Blush colored foil.
I trimmed my foiled Arch Backdrop background down to 4" x 5 1/4" (inches), then cut one of the decorative layers from the Braided Tag die set to add that dotted detail to the middle of the panel. I love that these are all separate dies in this set so you don't have to always use them all together! To finish up my diecutting, I cut out the foiled sentiment with it's coordinating die, and I also cut three options from the Artistic Blossoms die set. After adding some colored strips that I cut with our Slim Stripes die set to a scrap of cardstock, I also diecut all the pieces out for one of the Artistic Bows.
I dipped just parts of the diecut Artistic Blossoms into embossing ink, covered them in Rose Glintz embossing powder & heat set. I love how it gives is a "dipped" look! I assembled the bow, then adhered the card together as shown, popping up some of the layers with foam tape. I accented with trios of Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish! There will also be more images of this card on my Instagram post, as I have an image limit on my website...and I'm trying to stretch it as far as I can before I have to purchase additional storage. Lol! Thanks for heading to my feed to see more, and allowing me to be a tad frugal. You can also check out my complete supply list below to multiple stores, or CLICK HERE to see it a bit easier. :)
